About us<\/h1>\n

CEFAT.unipv, Center of Pharmaceuticals Economics and Medical Technologies Evaluation was born in partnership with the Center of Research SAVEStudi<\/a> of Milan, in the context of the research and training activities of the Department of Drug Sciences of the University of Pavia and with the aim of consolidating the growing synergy between university departments and local, regional and national healthcare structures.
\nThe evidence generated by Real World studies can be considered as a communication tool for pharmaceutical companies with public decision-makers and health professionals, with a view to sharing and collaboration with the health and regulatory authorities. As randomized clinical trials are essential in defining the efficacy and safety of therapies in experimental conditions, Real World Evidence studies are more relevant when considering the conditions of use, prescription and financing of drugs and health technologies in clinical practice, after placing on the market.<\/h3>\n
